Helen, Susanna, Andrew and Christopher will be the first members of SD to grace the platform of the newly restored Birmingham Town Hall, which re-opened in October 2007 after a closure of several years.  They will be performing Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle with the City of Birmingham Choir under the baton of conductor Adrian Lucas.  Susanna is delighted to be singing for the CBC again. Under their former conductor Christopher Robinson, she sang Constant Lambert's Rio Grande in Symphony Hall with them, with the wonderful Peter Donohoe somewhat more than tinkling, or indeed tickling, the ivories.
